Who is Market My Meeting?

Lisa Coleman – Social Media Manager


LC 72Lisa Coleman brings over 25 years of marketing and writing experience to Market My Meeting. Specializing in strategic content, blogging and event marketing, Lisa has a knowledge base in both print and online promotions.  Notably, she worked as a consultant for the Mexican government tourism office for more than a decade creating strategies to grow the international tourism market while promoting and teaching nationwide training seminars to travel associations and agencies. In addition, she is an award-winning travel writer and also authored a book on sales. (Million Dollar Salespeople – Success Stories of Top Sales Performers.)

Most recently, Lisa worked as a Digital Media and Strategic Content Community Manager for the Mexico Today program at Ogilvy Public Relations in 2011 – 2012. She was later hired by Qorvis Communications to further expand the program.  Lisa managed a team of 24 bloggers and her team was instrumental in growing Mexico Today’s Social Media presence from zero to over 48,000 “likes” on Facebook and going from zero to over 17,000 followers on Twitter.

Lisa lives in Cave Creek, Arizona.

Leslie Saint McLellan – Social Media Manager


Leslie MMM 72Leslie Saint McLellan brings a wealth of online marketing experience to Market My Meeting. In addition to her management role at MMM, Leslie is a partner at Tourism Currents, a social media training company for the tourism and hospitality industries. She specializes in building custom Social Media marketing plans and training her clients on the ins and outs of using this platform to drive attendance to events and to increase membership numbers for associations.

For 21 years prior to joining Tourism Currents, Leslie was the Director of Marketing and Tourism for Lake Arrowhead, California heading the destination marketing division.  Leslie was also responsible for public relations for the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa and she was previously the marketing director for Lake Arrowhead Village. She worked for Hilton Hotels from 1987 – 1991 at the Lake Arrowhead Hilton in the sales department and was ultimately named Director of Sales and Marketing.  She has received global recognition for her Social Media programs. In 2009, Lake Arrowhead’s marketing budget was slashed to ZERO.  Starting from nothing, she built the social media program into an extremely strong and viable marketing powerhouse without spending a penny.  The success of the program was featured as a case study in Social Media Examiner.

Leslie is also a nationally recognized speaker having spoken at a variety of conferences including BlogWorld, eTourismSummit and 140 Character Conferences.

Leslie lives in Lake Arrowhead, California.
